With over 40 years experience in exploration, project development and mine operations Adrian has been a member of teams that made gold discoveries at Porgera, PNG; Big Bell, WA; Gross Rosebel, Suriname; Hope Bay, Canada; and more recently White Gold, Yukon, Canada. He founded Underworld Resources in 2006 which was subsequently acquired by Kinross Gold Corp for CAD$130m. Adrian was also a founding Director of Northern Empire Resources which is the subject of an acquisition by Coeur Mining for CAD$117m. Adrian has served as a director of numerous companies including ASX listed Goldminex Resources, plus TSX listed Precipitate Gold Corp. & Strikepoint Gold Inc.
Geoffrey has extensive experience in starting and operating businesses in several industry sectors including resources, financial advice and retail. He has 19 years of experience in the resources sector in Australia, New Zealand, PNG, and Alaska. In 2006 he established Tasman Goldfields Ltd (now Rift Valley Resources (RVY)), led it through a successful IPO in December 2007 and in 2009 he helped to secure a $25 million exploration and mine development funding package.
Peter has extensive experience in exploration of mineral projects from grass roots exploration through to advanced exploration stage. Peter has also accumulated valuable experience in geo-technical roles. Most recently Peter has been employed on a consulting basis to private exploration companies. Prior to that (2006-2009) Peter was Exploration Manager for ASX listed Tasman Goldfields Ltd. Peter has worked on exploration projects in New Zealand, Australia (NSW & QLD), PNG, Solomon Islands, Canada (BC) and Alaska.
John has over 35 years of business experience, including almost 20 years as a founder, Board Member and as a member of management, in the Junior Resource sector. He is a former Director of the Queensland Resource Council, and has also acted as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of a number of ASX listed companies in the Junior Resource sector.
Andrew has 30 years professional experience across the resources, mining and engineering sectors in Australia, Indonesia and PNG. He has previously held both executive and board positions in ASX listed companies and was CEO-Carbon Materials for the Ken Talbot Group.
Peter Maletz is a founding partner of Brisbane based accounting firm Hanrick Curran. He is a director of the Australia PNG Business Council. His qualifications and professional memberships include a Bachelor of Commerce, a Fellow of the: Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow: Taxation Institute of Australia, Chartered Tax Advisor, CPA in PNG and Registered Tax Agent in Australia and PNG.
